Native Bees

School Incursion

Australia has 2000 species of native bees, 800 of which are endemic to Western Australia

In this hands-on workshop, participants learn about the unique features and habitats of native bees, with emphasis on their important role as pollinators.

Using recycled materials, the participants will create their own native bee habitat to keep at home, empowering individuals to take meaningful action against the widespread habitat loss currently threatening our native bee population.

Decorating the bee hotels and colouring in the beautifully designed worksheets offers young and old participants an enjoyable creative outlet and an opportunity for further learning.

Eco Action can bring Native Bees to your school or event. Make a booking online.
