This workshop will introduce participants to microorganisms, including viruses, bacteria (good and bad), molds, and yeasts, as well as tiny creatures like mites and zooplankton. Attendees will also observe and learn about cells. Hands-on activities will be included, such as drawing observations, and coloring sheets will be available for younger participants.
Our educational and engaging school incursions or community workshops offer participants a fascinating introduction to the world of magnification and microscopic life. Through visually rich presentations, attendees will learn the fundamental principles of microbiology.
In the interactive portion of the session, participants will have the opportunity to observe under a microscope and draw living single-celled organisms, plant and animal cells, and a variety of preserved specimens.
