This workshop combines a puppet show with music and play-based learning to make classification accessible to younger audiences.

Participants are introduced to a range of scaffolded biological concepts before meeting/handling a variety of arthropods, reptiles, and amphibians. The session culminates in a selection of games, sensory experiences, and craft
activities intended to reinforce key scientific concepts with hands-on, play-based learning.
This workshop was created for use in early childhood education and lower primary, but can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences.
