Nature Life Drawing Workshop (Jan 24th 6-8pm)

Join Eco Action for an evening of art and nature with internationally published scientific illustrator Mike Bamford.
You will learn how to draw some friendly native live animals such as insects, lizards, frogs, and local plants. No prior skills are required, just a willingness to learn. Enjoy a range of native bush teas and plant -based snacks in a lovely relaxed setting as you are guided through the drawing process.
Mike successfully combines the careers of artist, scientist and writer. He and his wife Mandy run their own wildlife ecological consultancy and have contributed a huge amount to environmental conservation and education in Perth. Mike is also a regular guest lecturer at several of Perth’s Universities and is an active volunteer in a number of conservation organisations.

• All drawing supplies
• Guidance through sketching native fauna and flora
• Plant-based snacks (including fruits, dips, and sweets)
•Native bush teas wild harvested by Indigenous Australians from the Kimberley, Western Australia ( from Kakadu Plum Co)


This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 15 and over.
